Before his career in executive search and becoming a permanent resident in Japan, William worked for a joint venture owned by Microsoft and the Tribune Company called Careerbuilder.com in Chicago, Illinois. During that period, he was responsible for marketing multimedia recruitment solutions to international joint ventures, start-up operations and technology-based partnerships.
William holds a dual BA in Political Science/ Philosophy (Interdepartmental) and German from Indiana University in Bloomington. William also studied at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg im Breisgau and lived in Germany for a combined total of 2 years.
He is fluent in English and German and has a conversational level of Japanese.
Recently cited in the Wall Street Journal’s FINS section in an article about Finance Jobs in Japan, William is a recognized executive search consultant with recruiting experience in a variety of industries and functions.
William is currently responsible for our Asia-wide retained executive search business and assists our outplacement division.
